LoveShake is a vegan protein powder with approximately 28g of protein per serve (40g)! Whey protein can be difficult to digest by humans (not just for those who are lactose intolerant). Due to the ‘heavy’ nature of dairy takes the body a lot longer and more effort to digest, which leads to constipation in some people. This is because whey is an animal-sourced protein, and it generally does not contain much dietary fibre. On the other hand, LoveShake is 100% plant-based and made with pea and rice protein with added dietary fibre to aid with the digestion process.
You may be wondering what pea protein is? Our pea protein blend is derived from split yellow peas, which are known to be rich in amino acids. For generations, people worldwide have been consuming peas and lentils as their daily source of protein, especially those that are vegetarian and vegan. For example, in India, a large population of people are vegetarian, and they’ve resorted to substituting meat for lentils, peas, rice and beans as the daily source of protein.
Lactose and Gluten-Free Protein Shake
